Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that removes the excess tissue from the labia minora.
At the beginning of the procedure, our doctor will discuss with you how much tissue should be removed. You will then be taken to the procedure room and placed in a position similar to that of a gynecological exam.
The intimate area is disinfected and numbed with local anesthetics. The excess tissue is then removed and the wound is closed with self-dissolving sutures.
Postoperative bleeding may occur after the procedure, so you will be monitored by our medical staff for about two hours.
Afterwards, you can be picked up by an adult companion.
During the first 2-4 weeks, you should refrain from sports and sexual intercourse in order not to impair the healing process.
Nevertheless, you will be socially fit again after about 2 days and will be able to perform light physical activities. The ability to work for light physical activities is also achieved after about 2 days.
However, we recommend that you avoid heavy physical activities for at least 2 weeks to ensure that the healing process is undisturbed.
Our doctor will give you detailed instructions on aftercare following the surgery to support a quick and successful recovery.
A follow-up visit will be made approximately one week after surgery to check the progress of healing and remove stitches.
